LISA BOHNE ART

Lisa Bohne is a Northern California–based painter and mixed media artist with more than thirty years of experience creating and teaching art. Working intuitively across acrylic and oil painting, watercolor, stained and fused glass, pottery, resin, jewelry, and whimsical dream catchers, she embraces a wide range of materials as a way to explore color, texture, and expression. Her vibrant, uplifting work is created with a simple intention: to bring beauty, warmth, and joy into everyday life and to fill spaces with positive energy and possibility.

As a longtime art educator, Lisa is known for her encouraging spirit and her ability to make creativity feel accessible to everyone. She delights in helping students of all ages let go of self-judgment and rediscover the joy of creating. Her teaching style blends curiosity, play, and thoughtful guidance, empowering each person to trust their own artistic voice and uncover the wonder that already lives within them.

Outside the studio, Lisa finds inspiration in her garden, tending fruits and vegetables and observing the quiet rhythms of nature. This connection to growth, color, and the natural world flows deeply into her work and reflects her warm spirit and belief in art’s ability to uplift and inspire. Through every piece she creates, Lisa hopes to offer a joyful reminder of the beauty that surrounds us.
